The self monitoring scale measures the extent to which an individual has the will and ability to modify how they are percived by others.
This test was developed by Mark Snyder (1974).
The test consisists of twenty five items that could possibly apply to yourself that you must rate as true or false. Each item should be responded to quickly without overthinking. The test should take no more than two minutes.
This test is part of a research project and so scores will be recorded and will be used and possibly shared with other researchers. Any information that could reasonably be used to identify you will not be shared.
I consent to having my answers collected and used for research on the condition that my participation is entirely anonymous. In addition, I agree to the full consent form which elaborates on this point.
